Privacy Policy

A High Performance Brain (HPB), referred to as "HPB" in this document, is responsible for the collection, processing, and use of personal data in the context of its activities promoting and directing workshops, courses, conferences in the field of neuroscience and neuroplasticity, and neuroplasticity training. This includes registering clients for events and training, as well as issuing financial documents related to payments for event registrations, training, and any other extraordinary income. HPB places great on the protection of personal data and collects, processes, and uses importance personal data solely in accordance with the following principles:

 

A.Collection of personal data

1. Contact details

The contact data collected by HPB, namely full name, VAT number, Citizen Card number, e-mail address and telephone number – by completing the registration form or requesting via email, are intended to prepare a list of your customers, sponsors and others, as well as communicate and share information considered relevant within the scope of the objectives of promoting and disseminating activities related to the execution of its professional scope, carrying out marketing actions for products and services sold, sharing information , management tools (Wix, MailChimp, Domínios.pt, Asana, Google, among others), dynamics and other communications by HPB.

The collection of some categories of data is mandatory, others optional based on the voluntary decision of the data subject.

Identification and contact data: name, date of birth or age, gender, nationality, address, telephone number, email address, registration or unemployment certificates, paypal account, credit card, identification document number, occupation, functions, entity where he works or studies.

 

2. Activity data

Data collected within the scope of activities carried out by HPB, namely sounds and images (for example: photography, recording, video), captured at events and others.

3. Financial data

The bank account data of the respective natural and/or legal persons, in the case of financial payment, such as registration fees, among others.

 

4. Data for issuing invoices and/or receipts

Data are required for issuing receipts and invoices - billing name, tax identification number (NIF) and complete address (address, postcode and location) - mainly in the following situations:

  • the payment of sports or other insurance, when applicable;

  • payment for participation in events and activities promoted solely or in partnership with HPB;

  • payment for services to HPB employees or on behalf of a third party;

  • Any subsidies, donations, or any other extraordinary income received by HPB. Except in exceptional cases, the aforementioned data is also required via an online form and/or via e-mail to customers, participants and other entities involved.

Contacts made by HPB can be made via email (geral@highperformanceskills.org or otherwise), by telephone contact or by letter via post to the address provided.

B. Access, management, and transfer of personal data

1. Access and management of personal data

The access and management of the personal data collected may be done by the directors of HPB. Management exclusively involves data organization and listing according to intended characteristics.

 

2. Data recipients

The recipients of the data collected are HPB and the entities to whom the data may be communicated at the request or with prior consent of the data subject.

 

3. Transfer of personal data

There will be no unauthorized transfer of personal data either to national or international entities, institutions and organizations (among others).

 

4. Security

HPS undertakes to adopt all appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data stored in our systems against loss, destruction, unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure.

 

5. Owners' rights

Data subjects enjoy, in accordance with the law, free access rights to the data provided, as well as the right to rectify, block or delete said data. Authorizations, granted by the data subject, for the collection, processing and use of data can be withdrawn at any time.

Holders may contact HPB on all issues related to the processing of their personal data and the exercise of the rights conferred by the applicable legislation. In order to exercise the aforementioned rights, you must request the request, in writing, to the Board of HPB, via email (protecaodedados@highperformanceskills.org), with HPB having 5 working days to implement it.

 

6. Data retention period

Your data will be stored within the maximum legal limit allowed from the granting of this consent.

 

7. Change of privacy policy

These personal data processing terms can be changed at any time and without notice. These changes will be duly advertised on the Site in an easily visible format, for the convenience of Users.
