According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Mental Health is “a state of well-being in which an individual realizes his/her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively, and is able to make a contribution to his/her community.”

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being, affecting how we think, feel, and act. Hence, it also refers to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional well-being.

In fact, mental health is more than just the absence of mental disorders or disabilities! Is about looking after ongoing wellness and happiness, and not only avoiding active conditions.

Conditions such as stress, depression, and anxiety can all affect mental health and disrupt a person’s routine. It can affect daily living, relationships, and physical health.
