Stroke what you need to know?
By knowing these symptoms you can SAVE LIFE❗️
A stroke occurs when blood flow to the brain is interrupted. There are two main causes of stroke:
▪️a blocked artery (ischemic stroke)
▪️leaking or bursting of a blood vessel (hemorrhagic stroke).
87% of strokes are classified as ischemic.
🧠Without oxygen-rich blood, brain cells die. About 2 million brain cells die per minute during a stroke emergency. Brain cells that have died can't be brought back to life.
Some people may have only a temporary disruption of blood flow to the brain, known as a transient ischemic attack (TIA), that doesn't cause lasting symptoms.
