How to make resolutions?

We like to say "Don't put it ā€Ŗuntil tomorrowā€¬ if you can do it today"... However, we are aware that there is something magical about the start of a new year.

We're coming up on new year's resolution time. This is the time when many people will be resolving to "lose weight" or "get skinny". Unfortunately, these goals don't really mean anything. They are theoretical, not tangible.. THEY'RE very general, not concrete. They don't give you any sense of direction.

Once you figure out what you're actually struggling with right now, you will be able to see what is in your way to getting to your goal.

Making a resolution to "go to the gym 3 days a week and do some other activity you enjoy 1 day per week" gives you clear guidelines to stick to and is a very appropriate goal if your biggest obstacle is finding motivation to go to the gym.

When setting goals use SMART technique.

Goals should be:
