Brain Stimulation

  • What is NeuroPlasticity?

It is the brain's ability to change, physically, chemically, and functionally, at any age, whether for better or for worse. The plasticity of the brain manifests itself in the form of changes in cognitive, emotional and sensory skills
This flexibility plays an incredibly important role in the development or decline of the brain as well as in the formation of our personality.

  • How does the Brain change?

The Science of Plasticity of the Brain is a study of a physical process. Neural connections can be created and refined, or weakened and cut.
Physical changes in the brain manifest directly in our competencies or faculties.
For example: In a game of tennis, when we learn to serve, it reflects a physical change in our brain, new "wires" (Neural Pathways) are created, this gives instructions to our body on how to perform these movements.
Another example: when we forget someone's name also reflects a change in the brain, the "wires" that were connected to memory were degraded or cut.

In short, changes in the brain can result in improved or weakening skills.

  • How can people change?

The question that needs to be asked is "To change, is enough you want it?" In fact it is not enough, we have to understand how change occurs in people, what influences it, what variables we should control. There are several types of change:

  • Physical change in body:

.      .Fit and Healthy Body

.      .Preventing loss of abilities (Health Decline)

.      .Prevention of psychosomatic, degenerative and other diseases

.      .Slow aging and prevent brain shrinkage

  • MindSet Change:

.      .Changing attitudes and behaviors

.      .Changing the form of being and well being

.      .Improvement in the quality of life

  • Change of cognitive, emotional and sensory abilities:

.      .Improvement in memory

.      .Improved speed of reasoning

.      .Increased Attention and Concentration

.      .Improved field of view and duplication of visual processing speed

.      .Improvement in hearing

.      .Improving and increasing brain flexibility

.      .Improved self-confidence and self-esteem

.      .Increased productivity and performance

.      .Better management of emotions, among many others

  • Change of objectives:

.      .Restructuring of objectives

.      .Developement of capacity and mechanisms to overcome them

  • Cognitive growth and decline

We usually associate childhood and adulthood with brain growth. If on the one hand young people are seen as those who learn on the other the older ones are seen as the time of cognitive decline.
Recent studies show that under correct circumstances, the power of brain plasticity can help adult minds grow.
The plasticity can invigorate the brain, just keep it in shape with specific NeuroPlasticity exercises in a specific context, where physical exercise and nutrition have a preponderant role in this process.
In this way, even people with dementia should train the brain for a healthier function

  • Neuroplasticity and the Senses

One of the recent discoveries of neuroplasticity is how close the senses are to memory and cognition.
By their interdependence, the weakness of one is often related, or even the cause, of the weakness of others.
As we get older we become more distracted and forgetful because our brain does not process what we hear, what we see and feel as well as it did.

  • Non-Invasive Treatment

One of the most attractive features of the treatments based on plasticity is that they are free of "drugs", rely essentially on retraining/recycling brain through repetitive and challenging activity.

  • Revolution of Plasticity

Growing understanding and interest in brain plasticity lead to a revolution in brain health and science to measure how the brain changes.
Brain training based on plasticity can help in schizophrenia, Alzheimer's, Parkinsson, and others. At an early stage the disease may even halt the progression of the disease. Cancer patients, where in the face of chemotherapy, cognitive function has been impaired, they may regain these cognitive functions. In CVA, with this training, patients can relearn skills that seemed lost if there are no irreversible brain damage.

  • Why NeuroPlasticity Training or Brain Fitness?

The mature brain tends to shrink with aging, especially from the age of 30 or 35, as we fail to train our cognitive, emotional, sensory skills, and a whole "machinery" of the brain that controls movements, which will degrade. Hence plasticity has a negative impact on aging if we do not train it.
It is very important for our brain and physical health to do regular NeuroPlasticity workouts because they keep us "fit" and empower our skills, and help us to prevent of neurological diseases.

  • HPS NeuroPlasticity Training Methodology

The methodology that HPS has developed for Neuroplasticity training is innovative, since it includes a face-to-face training where activities of the cognitive, emotional and sensorial forum are developed simultaneously with the physical exercise, which enhances a better and greater development and improvement of all mental and physical skills. (Physical exercise will be adapted to the physical condition of each person, and may even be just a walk or some body movement depending on the mobility of the person concerned)
Complementary to this training should be done in-house training in specific applications for this purpose, in conjunction with a balanced diet.
After a planned training period, 360º evaluation and analysis will be done, as well as the control and management of the efficiency and objective indexes, these will be the indicators and the methodologies for measuring results.
